SOURCES

This site has one rule: a number either comes from the client, from the portal page, or it does not appear. This page is the list of those sources, so you can check any figure yourself.

The portal information block: Developer Famobi, Rating 8.4 based on the last 6 months, 760K likes and 187K dislikes, Released December 2024, Last Updated October 2026, HTML5, Browser.
What this shows the whole portal block we treat as the official record, in one frame: developer, rating, vote counts, dates and engine. Captured 2026-11-04 Client web build 2026-11-04 Plate 1

The five sources

1. The browser build. The game at games.crazygames.com, played as a guest. Everything on the pages marked TESTED was done there and photographed the same day.

2. The per-language builds. The client is served per locale: games.crazygames.com/en_US/…, de_DE, es_ES, pt_BR, ja_JP and so on. Each one returns a different index.html — different length, different <html lang> — which is how we know the shelf and the wrapper are localised even though the in-game text stays English.

3. The portal page. crazygames.com/game/supermarket-simulator-cashier-game prints the eleven binds, the developer, the rating, the vote counts, the release and update dates, the platform line and the tags. Anything we repeat from there is marked OFFICIAL ONLY, because it is the store speaking, not the game.

4. The portal rating, quoted with its window. The page reads 8.4 (based on last 6 months); the window is part of the figure, so we print it with the number. The vote counts are 760K likes and 187K dislikes on the day we looked.

5. The capture log. Screenshots stay in one folder per session with the time each was taken. When a figure on a page looks wrong, that log is what we reopen.

What we do not use

We do not borrow from the other guides that rank for this game's name. There are several, they describe three different games — the Steam shop sim, a mobile clone, a Roblox map — and none of them is the browser build. Copying their numbers would put someone else's game on our pages.

We also do not use gameplay videos as a source, and we do not extrapolate from the tags. Simulation 489 is a tag count on the portal, not a measure of how simulation-heavy the game is.

How to check us

Open the game, do the thing the page describes, and compare. If a figure disagrees, the address is on the contact page, and the page gets its mark demoted until it is re-checked. That is the whole maintenance model: a page is only as good as the last time someone looked.
